Welcome to the Bleeding Art Challenge Blog! It's March and it's anything goes!
Create a mixed media project - anything you'd like, no special theme or subject! But be sure to check the rules page beforehand so you know what kinds of projects we accept and the requirements for your entry. Those not complying won't be considered in judging!
And we've got January's winner back with a fantastic project! Meet Jessica!
Hello there! My name is Jessica Larios/Matter of Crafts. I am a 34-year-old mother to two boys, a wife, a part-time worker, and a full-time student (geriatric counseling). I am inspired to encourage and help others in any way I can - life is too short! My crafting journey began when I was a kid with drawing in a sketchbook. When I turned 17, I started scrapbooking - and I yearned for more! I love telling stories without speaking a word. Through art, I love to encourage others to think outside the box. I'm an up-cycling mixed media artist with a specialty in creating my own concoctions to add interesting dimensions and textures. My passion rests in making unconventional 3D art out of what was once considered discarded trash. I just enjoy using many different techniques and resources to create different types of beautiful projects.
Thanks so much, Jessica, for being our guest designer! You can see more about this project on Jessica's blog as well as her other social media links!
