May Challenge

Welcome to the Bleeding Art Challenge Blog! We're not only all mixed media all of the time but anything goes all of the time!

Create a mixed media project - anything you'd like, no special theme or subject! But be sure to check the rules page beforehand (there may have been changes made!) so you know what kinds of projects we accept and the requirements for your entry. Those not complying won't be considered in judging!

We have a previous challenge winner back with us as a guest designer - welcome Karina!

Hi everybody - thanks for having me at Bleeding Art today! My name is Karina (aka Gibonik in the virtual world). I live in the southern part of Poland with my husband and two dogs 😁 My creative adventure began 12 years ago with decoupage. As I am always searching for more, I found mixed media a few years ago and got into it for good! I also love playing with paper, not only scrapbook papers but all vintage findings, like book pages, packaging papers, wallpapers, etc. My favourite things to do are ATC cards, junk journals and notebooks, art journals, and altering objects. I made a small notebook cover for today, embellished it with some texture, chipboard and moulds and then treated all with black gesso, my beloved satin acrylics, and a touch of waxes 😊 Hope you like it!
